Reap the benefits of pre-staining your decks, doors, siding, soffit, fences, and other building products with Vivid Coatings. Our automated application of stain allows the woodgrain of the substrate to shine through, without the typical wipe marks you see on hand-applied stains. We have extensive experience staining cedar, fir, pine, SPF lumber.

Because the stains are applied in a climate controlled environment, you won't have to wait for the perfect weather to apply the stain. In fact, you can have it done over the winter! Whether you are a homebuilder or contractor looking to outsource an upcoming project, or an individual looking to have us stain something for your home, we would be happy to provide you with a quote.

Wood Staining Pricing

Pricing will vary based on the size and finish of the product, as well as the quantity. Please do reach out to us directly for your own individual pricing. To give you an idea - our standard pricing is $1.50/lineal foot for staining on a 4” or 6” wide deck/fence/siding/soffit board. This includes 2 coats on the top, sides, and edges of the substrate (assuming standard thickness). Pricing per square foot is available upon request for wider items like doors and panels.

As per the guidelines of stain manufacturers, we always sand down the finish of the building material prior to staining. This can be done by yourself prior to supplying us with the material, or we can do it in-house. Our standard pricing for sanding on 4” or 6” wide deck/fence/siding/soffit products is $0.75/lineal foot.

Wood Staining Products and Colour Selections
