At Vivid Coatings, quality is our number one focus. Our process for painting materials begins before the product hits the line. When product arrives to be painted, we give it time to acclimate to the temperature of the facility. This ensures a stronger adhesion when paints are applied.
Next, our line manager inspects each piece as they are loaded onto the line. This allows us to catch any visible manufacturing defects prior to painting. Doing so ensures that we avoid warranty claims with product manufacturers, sidestepping any project-delaying claims processes. As each piece goes on to the line, it is wiped with a dry cloth to remove any dust or residue on the product.
Once inspected and cleaned, the materials follow down our line at a uniform pace - ensuring an even application across all materials. Vivid Coatings uses unique coat settings for each substrate we work with - so the amount of paint applied, the additives used in our paints, and the number of coats will vary. We monitor quality as materials move through the line - if we see any issues with the finish as it is coming off, we will halt the line and adjust accordingly. Once the materials have been coated, they are moved on to racks and go through our temperature-controlled drying process. Our state of the art drying system can have a product dried and ready for another coat or packaging within an hour!
Once coating is finished, the materials are inspected and then sent to our packaging office. All Vivid Coatings materials are protected from damage in the transport process by custom fit packaging materials. Following packaging, the materials are ready for pick up or delivery.
